Look.at the bit in the black box at the bottom. It claims Ugg isnt one brand, but a style from many different manufacturers. So id swerve them. But-the brand is massively diluted. I bought mine in an Ugg store, with official packaging, receipts etc. They dont have a label inside, the soles are different. And you can buy Uggs in Target even cheaper. They are made in China now.

YogaNoga · 15/01/2026 21:19

Of course they're fake. They literally say so on their site:

Thank you again for choosing to shop with us. In Australia, “UGG” refers to a general style of sheepskin boot rather than a single brand, which is why more than 70 registered trademarks across the country include the word “UGG” in various logos and designs. For this reason, we offer a broad range of UGG-style boots, including locally made options and styles produced overseas using Australian sheepskin, so you can select the pair that suits you best.

Which is all a load of nonsense. They're fake.

That’s a fact though. Uggs are style of sheepskin boot. Like trainers are a type of shoe.

But they are faking the logo as well. Fake!

GalaxyJam · 15/01/2026 21:27

Yes they’re clear fakes. You can get good sheepskin boots far cheaper than UGGs though.

andanotherproblem · 15/01/2026 21:35

You can get these in the actual Ugg outlet for same/similar price

Are they?

I don’t know what you mean by ‘the logo’ but if you mean the Ugg Australia logo, the logo on the boots in the OP looks nothing like it at all so I don’t really see how it’s faking the logo. The boots in the OP just have the word ugg on them which is like having the word wellington on your wellingtons.

BatchCookBabe · 15/01/2026 21:43

Real or fake, they are sinfully ugly. 😱

Yes I see that the logo is not the same now. Still, the OP wants to know if they are real, branded Uggs. Which they obvs aren't.

I cba to look into the trademark issue, but I suspect that they are breaking it.

Thank you all! I’m not so bothered by the brand as such I’m just trying to avoid cheap crappy boots dressed up to seem like they’re quality

Each to their own lol … I’m looking for something for the bad weather on its way for stability, sadly I have an AI disease and need comfort and warmth in my footwear … I have boots but feel this bad weather coming may require lots more than what I have . Sadly heels are no longer possible 😩

Every ‘fake’ Uggs I’ve ever had, even £50+ ones are nothing in comparison to the real ones, the real ones are very comfortable and don’t make my feet hurt, the fake ones hurt my feet after walking a while

In the UK the Celtic & Co company in Cornwall are sometimes referred to as making British Ugg boots. They aren't particularly cheap but they do last for years and I think they offer a repair service too. Think they say their boots are made in the UK.

BBear · 16/01/2026 15:00

Does anyone know where to get sheepskin boots but with the ‘leather’ n the outside so they are waterproof?

Ohwhatfuckeryitistoride · 16/01/2026 17:30

I got some Emu waterproof boots on Vinted, they are really waterproof, proper soles, zip up, very warm. Not elegant, but fine under trousers. Just looked, and if you specify waterproof there are quite a few-even new.

And they have a sale on. Last time I looked (a few days ago) some of the boots were half price in some colours. Not sure what sizes are left.
