What would you wear to visit the House of Lords?

I'm going to the HoL for work next month.

Would smart wide leg trousers, plain top, cream trainers be alright do you think?

I'm not speaking, just mingling around, representing my employer, making up the numbers.

I used to work there. Yes, I would say business smart casual is fine.

These trousers.

You can wear pretty much whatever you like.

There is a dress code for the Peers' Guest Room, Peers' Dining Room and the Barry Room Brasserie which is for "smart clothing" or "business dress" which for men includes a jacket and tie.

Other than that, it is up to you.
