Eye cream for approaching 40

Jingleballz · 13/01/2026 08:09

Please help! I am approaching 40 and battling fine lines and dark circles. I have tried retinol products in the past but my skin does not react well to them but would like an eye cream that has active ingredients that will actually DO something. My skin is dry so moisturising is a must.

Any recommendations please? Bonus points if under £30 but can stretch to £50.

Thank you!

Get plenty of sleep and eat a good healthy diet. Creams won’t help.

I use Curel products and find it perfect for my sensitive skin, really moisturising too. They have an eye cream

I use an eye serum from a small British brand called Base Skincare. I'm not convinced any cream can reverse lines or circles, but I do think I look a bit fresher since I started using the Base products.

I eat a very healthy diet and drink lots of water. Alas, I still look like a geriatric panda.

Thank you, have not heard of this brand before so will have a look.
