Longchamp - beach bag?

I bought myself a Longchamp bag in fawn that I plan to use as my carry on luggage for holidays. Thought it would also come in handy if we do day trips for suncream etc. Wondering if I can get away with using it as beach bag too? Has anyone done this and can report whether the sand marks it etc? Don't want it wrecked as I'm also planning on using it for my laptop when I have to go into the office.

I use my large one for a beach bag its brill fits all the towels in and various other bits. I did get a bit of sea spray on it but it wiped off and I always put my sun lotion in a plastic make up bag anyway.

I have used them as beach bags. Waterproof, zipper, just tip the sand out. 👍🏼

They aren’t fully waterproof- water stains them easily

OP I have loads and they work as great beach bags but I rotate my old ones for this purpose

I wouldn’t use a new light colour. They mark easily particularly when you throw suncream, ice cream and water splashes into the mix.

it’s not just about spillages- slightly greasy suncream hands WILL mark the lighter colours

i use my black and navy old ones as they show the marks a lot less
