Age spots on hands

They must have been forming gradually for years but I’ve only just noticed them at age 50 and hate them!! Are there any proven ways to get rid of them? The hand creams aimed at reducing them definitely don’t work for me

I used to use a Neutrogena hand cream which said it targeted brown spots. It really worked: apart from using it on my hands I tested it with two seborrheic keratoses which were close together on my tum and the same shade of brown. I applied it twice a day to one of them, and it went much paler than the other one.

They stopped making it, though. I have tried several products since but not found anything that works as well, so would be interested if anyone else has.

I don't know how to fade them, but I always use sunscreen on the back of my hands. I have no age spots there.

The rest of me is another story Grin

Azealic acid is supposed to work. I got a cheap cream from amazon and use it on some marks on my face, not sure if its my imagination but they do appear to be be lighter.
