A silly Botox question

Does Botox actually lessen/get rid of wrinkles or does it just prevent them from getting worse? Specifically interested in foreheads as mine is starting to resemble the London Tube Map as there are so many lines.

Lessens/gets rid of wrinkles temporarily and it works well on the forehead and elevens.

A bit of both. It will weaken the muscles over time and it will also stop the lines from getting worse and more from forming. Depending on your personal physiology, it doesn’t always look great as you get older so by all means try it, but you might not like the way it looks. It can make your eyes feel heavy and your brow drop down.
I have it done twice a year and for the first 4 weeks I hate the way it looks and feels

Reduces them noticeably for most people.

Possibly age dependent. Everyone I know who has it is 30-50yo. Outside of that I’m not sure.

It got rid of my eleven’s completely. I had one deep wrinkle across my
forehead which it irons out; this one starts to come back after about 4-5 months, then another session sorts it.

This is the same as me. I’m 56 and started on my 50th birthday. I have some lines around my eyes which I get botoxed plus my forehead.

Yes, I get eyes too, they didn’t bother me until started getting forehead done, and was scared it was the start of a slippery slope, but haven’t needed anything else. I can also go much longer between top ups now it’s been two years.

I have heavy forehead lines and even after 2 years they were terrible.
Botox also made me feel sad. I think I am just naturally expressive so not moving was too weird for my brain.

I’ve always been able to move everything.

For me it has been both.
By the time the treatment isn't active 5-6months for me, my eleven lines are no where near what they were when I started.
