Foundation sliding down my 50 year old face..

In desperate need of advice. I’ve faithfully used It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Oil Free Matte Poreless Finish for years but all of a sudden it looks orange, blotchy and caked on me. I’m 52, menopausal with combination skin, some redness on my cheeks and pores and oil on my nose. I’m thinking it’s time to switch to a tinted moisturiser specifically for mature skin. Does anyone have any recommendations? I went shopping last week and was recommended Clinique Even Better Foundation, over their tinted moisturiser but it looks slightly yellow, settled terribly in fine lines and by midday had slid off my nose and settled in pools in my pores. So attractive!

I'm trialling that at the moment ,it's ok but has a very strong scent that I think will irritate my eyes with daily wear. Best CC I've tried so far though colour wise.

Erborian also have a cc cream for eyes which might be better for you if you are sensitive? It has an spf too.

I really like the Laura Mercier matte tinted moisturiser, it blends in easily with fingers.

Been extremely impressed with Merit tinted mineral sunscreen factor 50 on my combination skin.

I’m not menopausal but have oily/hormonal temperamental skin.
Echo what others have said about a good primer being essential and have used urban decay setting spray for years and it’s never let me down.
Charlotte Tilburg airbrush foundation is great but pretty full coverage, how much coverage are you hoping for? Lighter coverage is more forgiving.

Not urban decay - skindinavia

Another vote for bobbi brown moisturiser.
Grown Alchemist primer
Clinique even better spf 15 foundation is fabulous,
I'm 55 and skin is flawless
.you'll need collagen daily and turmeric shots 3 times a week too.

the Boots Pro Artist makeup range is really good. I like their skin tint; its very lightweight but flattering on older skin (I'm 49)

That’s the brand I use, I don’t use primer, just the liquid foundation called weightless silk sheer foundation applied with a brush, it’s amazing.
