I'm have a long day in the car as bringing dc back to university & its 3.5 hrs each way

Its cold & damp here so i'm wearing

Soft straight leg jeans with a deep turn up in a mid wash

Navy sweatshirt with navy applique flower on front

Navy stripey socks

Mainly blue but colourful Hoff trainers

Anthropologie oversized scarf in red / pink

When i'm out of the car i have a long oversized cream coat

Plum leather whistles cross body bag

Not the most exciting outfit but its warm & comfortable.

My goal this year is to build up my weekend (non office or going out)
clothes.

Blue sweater from Whistles, Rag and Bone wide leg jeans, chestnut Ugg Lowmei sneakers. When I leave the house, my North Face white full length puffer coat (which really is just a sleeping bag with sleeves) a wooly hat and my giant Tom Ford sunglasses because it's -15 C outside.

I looked terribly smart earlier (jumper, blouse, smart/casual trousers and sensible shoes) for a job interview. Said clothes had to be hunted for, because they haven't been worn for some time!

I now look much more mismatched and un-stylish is pyjamas.

I'd love a link if you have one. I ordered some I found in large and they arrived today and not only are they scratchy they are XS. So I don't think they are the same as your lovely ones!

Today i am wearing horrible navy blue jeans that were very expensive for me (£75). They don't have a proper wasitband and they don't have pockets and they irritate me immensely. I am also wearing a black tshirt and a black zip up fleece i got from Aldi that cost £7. When i went out I wore my beloved Boden trainers that are in rainbow colours. They were £90 and one of those 'unwise' post-pub night out online purchases. But i love them and they are comfy. Our shower is broken so I have not really managed to get myself properly sorted today- and it shows.

Fluffy grey slipper socks.
Hair: a mess.

Back to work next week so will have to up the ante a bit.

Long, fitted black wool coat (MaxMara)

A few Vinted bargains in there! So sick of my winter clothes, though…

Out to lunch today so I wore chocolate brown suede trousers, a cream crochet-look cardigan and brown suede ankle boots with a small block heel. Outerwear was a calf-length oatmeal wool coat and a big soft leopard print scarf.

A denim midi skirt and an Allman Brothers Band tee shirt - it's summer here.

WFH today. I'm in black leggings from Amazon, an oversized black jumper dress from (blast from the past) Miss Selfridge which I bought on Asos, my Ugg Tasman slippers and black, grey and maroon fair isle type knit leg warmers (I loathe wearing socks with slippers and the leg warmers stop my ankles getting cold.

I'm going to a gig tonight so will obviously get changed to go out, but am facing my usual clothes dilemma of it being near-freezing temperatures outside and needing to get there via public transport and walking, but also knowing that the temperature in the venue will be unbearably hot and it's a standing gig so there will be nowhere to put a coat down. I expect I'll wear a dress with opaque tights and Doc Martens and put a shacket type coat over it, in which I will actually be comfortable in neither temperature 🙄
