Going to the first day of the aintree festival (not ladies day ) it’s the beginning of April so no clue on the weather but have no idea what to wear 😭 not in a posh area but would like to dress up to an extent as I think women do for aintree but haven’t been before so need some help , I bought a off the shoulder long sleeved chocolate dress with some heels but wondering if it’s too dressy and also if il be freezing ! No clue on what I could wear on top as I’ve only got big coats lol

I've been before on the Thursday, I dressed up wearing an ivory jumpsuit and headpiece. Women do still dress up. It likely will be cold, so try and get something for over your dress, nothing too bulky as there are covered areas you can stand.

Was thinking of wearing this but is it suitable ? I’m really not fashionable and feel clueless and also what kind of jacket etc would go with this ? Thanks !

I'd invest in a Buck Stone Country dress and matching coat. They'd be perfect!
