I was thinning on top horribly post menopause and also after a big weight loss on mounjaro which Im still on and having a panic thinking Id have to start wearing wigs.
I heard seaweed helps so I grew my blond dye out then started using non branded and quite cheap organic seaweed shampoo three times a week. No conditioner needed.
Its growing back in handfuls, Im so pleased. I can no longer see my scalp through my hair. This is two months regrowth. The rest of my hair is waist length.
I hope this might help someone.

Feel free to dismiss this as total anecdote, but my thin hair and nearly nonexistent eyebrows grew back in after I'd started taking collagen. Not at all the expected outcome but a nice plus.

I have a lot of new hairs, 3 months after taking an iron supplement.

Sides of my hair also grew back with collagen. It thinned out again when I stopped. I am back on it!

Thanks for sharing OP. I've never heard of seaweed shampoo! When I've lost weight in the past (not injections) I always lost some hair about 2mths later, but it soon stopped.

If you hair is waist length the weight might also be contributing to it pulling on the crown. Depends how you wear it though. I'm glad its coming back.

Thanks. Ill definitely try collagen too. Throw everything at it. Its a very sad colour at the moment though. Ill get a balyage at some point. There is nothing sadder than white and mouse coloured hair 😂

@GettingbysomehowMake sure it is collagen Type I or Type I & III you get for hair growth. Type II is for joints. I believe marine powder (rather than bovine) is better for hair than capsules. Do your research. I take Bare Biology powder. It works out about £20 a month (pot is 40 quid for 2 months) but I am now taking it every other day so it will be a tenner a month. If my hair thins again I will start taking daily again. I believe Elevate is about the same price but has all the types of collagen in it.
