Largest heated rollers

I'm in the UK and looking to buy some jumbo sized heated rollers but have drawn a bit of a blank. I did quite a lot of research a while back and just couldn't find anything on the UK retail market so ended up buying some American ones online and got a converter plug separately. But when I tried to use them, they started producing a lot of smoke which was obviously alarming making me wonder what to try next. I've bought things with American plug sockets before by accident and haven't had any issues with safety or usability so not sure if it was just a faulty product or what the deal was?! Does anyone know of any really large heated rollers you can buy in the UK? Or if I'd likely get the same result again if I bought American ones online? The ones I had before were 2 inch (50mm) Conair ones - I'm trying to get more volume.

You get more volume with smaller rollers which sounds counterintuitive but true

Really? I saw Kate Garroway doing her hair once with jumbo rollers (don't think they were heated though) and she has amazing volume - I 'd always thought that was the key!

And don't they take longer to put in and are more fiddly? I have some normal size ones but it just takes an age and I was hoping for something that would be quicker as well as giving more volume.

Kate has hugely thick and coarse hair. Just the standard size normal rollers are all you need

I’ve bought the Mermaid digital ones ones, very pleased with them. 8 rollers, all 44mm, heat up quickly, whack them in whilst I drink my coffee, shower, skincare, makeup, get dressed and finally take out the rollers - looks like I’ve had a professional blow dry. Two downsides, they’re very pink and I don’t like the bull clips, but easily remedied with some ‘U’ clips from Amazon.
