Can I style this for winter?

I wore this lovely outfit for my sons graduation last year.
What shoes would you wear it with for winter, with tights, or will it just not work.
I have tried and can't figure it out - your help would be much appreciated

Is it a dress, or two piece?

The top is the issue, really. If it's two separate pieces you could wear the skirt with a fitted wool jumper and knee-high boots and tights in the winter.

The top looks a bit too light to keep you warm in the colder months, however - and it's a little baggy to wear underneath a chunky sweater or cardigan.

I don’t think it would work as a winter outfit, it looks very very summery.
its a nice outfit though, if any consolation 😔

I agree with @FeistyFrankie .
I'd wear winter tights, lace-up ankle boots and a jumper.

The outfit looks lovey but the colour and possibly fabric looks more late spring or summer.

@FeistyFrankie its 2 pieces, I would wear a thermal layer under the top which would be invisible - I wear one pretty much all the time Oct - March as I hate bulky jumpers. Thanks everyone
