How can I dress this plainish maternity dress up for a wedding? (Pics!)

Got a friends wedding this month, I’ve really really struggled to find something to wear. They have specified 4 colours to avoid (no white, burgundy, green or black) so have been limited, I feel massive and uncomfy and I just couldn’t find anything I liked. I also didn’t want to spend loads so ended up ordering this Seraphine dress from Vinted.
The pics are from another website but it’s the same dress.

Do you have any advice on how I can dress it up a bit?

Will gold work? I have some gold strappy heels and a clutch. Might have to take flats because it’s a 12pm ceremony and I might not last. No idea what flats. And no idea what jacket?

I have a blue tanzanite necklace that I can wear, unfortunately it’s silver but my other jewellery will be gold.

I might do skin coloured tights but have some that you can wear open toed shoes with so I don’t freeze.

I will curl my hair and do my makeup nice etc

will that be ok? I will attach some pics of the accessories once I’ve finished sorting tea.

Any other suggestions?! Or no to the gold? if so what else? Help! Thank you!

I can understand avoiding white at most weddings as bride wears that, but having to avoid other colours is mad. Your suggestions for dressing it up sound good. I can’t imagine anyone would judge a heavily pregnant woman making an effort, and hope that the bride and groom remember that they have asked their guests to witness their marriage vows and celebrate their relationship. You are their guest and meant to feel comfortable in what you wear, not just be treated as extras in their photos.

It’s nice.
I would wear black tights.
Don't mix silver and gold jewellery.

jacket, smarter cardigan and/or wrap will work. Just work with jewellery you have and wear flats with black tights. A brighter wrap might be better thinking about it

Please don’t wear black tights with navy. The dress is fab. You could wear any coloured bag and shoes with that except black. A lovely fascinator or hair clip and bright buttonhole will be lovely.

I think you will look lovely - lovely dress, good hair and make up - nails done and nice bag , big happy smile

Thank you that’s made me feel better!
here are the shoes.
I don’t think I would do black tights with a navy dress but have some nice quality toeless ones which will probably keep me in the heels longer to be fair!

I’ll take flats like I say… maybe there will be flip flops!

Would this jacket www.joebrowns.co.uk/crushed-velour-statement-jacket-wj759?colour=451
or this wrap www.joebrowns.co.uk/embroidered-paisley-wrap-with-fur-hb595?colour=349 work with the dress & shoes?

Worried you'll get cold!

I will definitely take a jacket but those two are really not my style!
I have a couple of neutral coloured ones that might work
