Bag (and style) overhaul… ideas please!

I’m going to get rid of a huge amount of my ‘fashion’ wardrobe and am going to work towards a functional (but hopefully stylish) capsule wardrobe.

My bags really need an update. I need:

• a work rucksack (to fit 15” laptop and must be waterproof/resistant) - ideally with a cup holder on the outside of the bag. I thought about a Rains one but it just looked too functional/masculine for me, personally.
• a day bag - to date, this has been a Roka small rucksack. I have young (but past baby/toddler phase) children and still need hands free and to carry stuff for them and me!
• a handbag of sorts - crossbody or tote (but with long strap). A bit more grown-up/stylish than my day bag, if that makes sense.

I’m not sure that I’m the best person to comment as my work backpack is a Roka London one (in leopard print). Is there a reason why you’ve ruled this out or a particular look you’re going for?

my day bag is a Pom Pom London Westminster - leather, about 27cm x 27cm and fits everything I need - it’s across body so still hands free.

What is your budget?
