Is Trinny London makeup any good?

I’ve never bought from Trinny but I’m very tempted. I did the ‘Match Me’ questionnaire and like the look of the products and colours they recommended.
However I’ve recently bought a few rubbish online purchases and it’s put me off online shopping with brands I don’t know.
Has anyone got any thoughts on her makeup, good or bad please?

I actually really like her bff serum foundation / tinted moisturiser thing - can’t remember its exact name l. In a silver tube (like toothpaste) with a pump top.

not tried anything else but im pretty fussy

I bought a lip/cheek colour this year and I thought it was utter rubbish, to be honest. When I put it on my lips it was like faintly coloured vaseline.

You certainly couldn't wear it as a lipstick. I was really disappointed for the price.

The bff serum is good. I haven't tried anything else but like the look of some of the eyeshadows

BDenergy · 01/01/2026 16:00

I use some of her products-mostly cream eyeshadow and a concealer. It’s pricy but I really like everything I’ve tried. I also had miracle blur but I can’t find it.

I love her skin tint but it's quite expensive. It does last ages though. I'm using a blusher I got in a beauty box and it's fab. I also have an eyshadow, but it dried up pretty quickly. I can't help liking Trinny. I think if I had her money If just sit back and not do much.

I have sensitive skin and have had made reactions to most of her stuff I've tried, the BFF de-stress (which annoyingly looked fab) and her lip to cheeks. There's a lot of mica/sparkle in it all.

Also didn't find the eyeshadow cream lasted well.

I haven’t bought any of the makeup. I had it applied when they first opened in Dublin and walked out into what proved to be one of the hottest days of the year and it literally melted down my face within minutes. I would try it again and apply it myself as I don’t think it was a good time to judge it!

However on that day the makeup application was redeemable. I didn’t know what to buy and ended up buying the Elevator décolleté and neck cream because my sister said the reviews were good. It has massively improved the skin on those areas. I always had blotchy, scalely skin on my chest, some prescribed creams would help but I stopped using them as it was only a temporary fix. Her cream has been brilliant and I’d say I’ve bought at least 6 or 7 of the refills now. I plan to try a few more products this year.

I love it. I use the BFF foundation, eye liner, lipsticks and creme eye shadows. I do like the lip to cheek if I want subtle make up. I do tend to put the lip stuff over other the conventional lipsticks if I want a glossier custom colour.

Squirrelchops1 · 01/01/2026 16:22

The BFF eye serum concealer is excellent

Pozz · 01/01/2026 17:20

Thanks very much for all the replies! I’ve bought the BFF foundation and I’m just hoping it’s a good colour match. I’d like to try a few samples but I’m not near a store so I’ll see how this turns out first. Thank you🙏

The cream eye shadows are excellent.
I have several I brought after seeing on Instagram and I love them.
They stay on all day, are super easy to apply and you can build up the colour if you want it darker.

slightlyunimpressed · 01/01/2026 17:30

I really like the cream eyeshadows - I use wisdom most days and it lasts really well but is very unobtrusive

purplecorkheart · 01/01/2026 18:14

I like the skin tint. Lightweight but makes your skin glow. I have the stacks and it is handy in my bag at work if an unexpected meeting crops up when I expect not to see anyone all day. However I probably will not repurchase other than the skin tint. It does not blend well into my skin.

WhiskyandWater · 01/01/2026 19:28

I love it, the bases, concealer, blushers and bronzers are the best I’ve ever worn. Love the textures and colours.
