Which tote bag for £200?

I've got £200 budget for a new tote/shopper and prefer not black or white and a reasonable size. have found these or open to suggestion including 2nd hand if they can be authenticated as I don't want a dodgy rip-off!

any suggestions or thoughts on the above?

Thanks - bit bigger than i'm after - that has more structured/ laptop vibes than I'm after plus not keen on the colour.

I like the Kate Spade one, the colour and the simple shape. Very nice. I like the peachy colour LK Bennett as well, but it’s a little more fussy, so of those two it might depend which is more practical for you. I don’t like the Barbour at all, it’s visually quite heavy.

What are Osprey like? I do like this one but Kate Spade one is currently winning I think as more usable than the LK Bennett (if for not other reason than I have a a few bits of red clothing including a coat and favourite jumper and this definitely wouldn't go)

I’m not a bag person but wouldn’t recommend the Osprey one - had it in black and it just felt very low end for the price. I gave it to charity shop. I do like the longchamp le pliage as v lightweight and last forever (yes I know they are a bit everywhere - like I said, not reality a bag person!)

Also why do so many tote bags not fasten properly! I don’t want my stuff to fall out or to get pickpocketed!

None of them, they don't look secure to me. I had this issue when I was looking recently, at least with a zip a pick pocket would need to unzip it first (having been pick pocketed years ago in London I'm overly conscience at how secure my bag is).

TBH, I'm not overly fussed about a zip up - maybe I should be but if I go to a busy city (rarely) I use a zip--up cross body bag. Did you ever find one @xSideshowAuntSallyXx ?

Thanks @Peasinthefreezer a bit structured for me - reminds me too much of my commuting/city days! Not considered Lulu Guiness and have fab clutch I use regularly so thanks @LoudSnoringDog I do like that but not sure about navy I'm more of a colour or black person. Always want to wear navy as it can look so chic and less harsh than black, but never quite manage to buy anything (& so the cycle continues😫)

Warning. I had a cross body that same colour as the LK Bennett, maybe slightly more coral. Leather, can’t recall brand but was from house of Fraser when it was good! Loved the bag, great quality and used it a LOT - then after one season noticed it had picked up navy blue dye from my winter padded nylon coat. Couldn’t remove it- and this was after I had sprayed protector on the bag too! Very annoying, been very careful with bag colours and use ever since

I like the LK Bennett one best, my kind of colour. Think about size of strap, the Kate Spade one is nice, and it is a brand I usually favour, but the straps are very narrow. For a tote bag, which holds a lot, these can dig in a bit.

What do you love about it? Genuinely baffled about why these bags are so popular. It looks really boring to me. It’s not even an attractive shape or an interesting colour.
