Thermal slippers

Whilst out shopping with DC this afternoon I wandered into The North Face shop and saw Thermoball slippers. I have constant cold feet due to a dodgy thyroid and wondered if these would be the answer to my prayers for toasty feet? Anyone have them? Any other recommendations for similar slippers? Are they worth the price? Thermoball Slippers at The North Face

I’ve had these OP. Lasted nearly constant wear for about 3 years then started to wear through the soles ( but my home is all flagstones downstairs).

They ARE toasty and warm and I distinctly remember having to take them off at times when my feet actually got too hot!

That said, they offer little in terms of foot support; if you’re not stable on your feet I’d give them a miss.

Mine were a Christmas gift from my parents so I loved them but now that they’re gone, I can’t afford to buy them again so I bought a pair of sheepskin slippers for £15 (Animal is the brand and they were half price) and they’re equally as toasty and warm despite being a different style.

I’ve been unwell and am having issues with cold feet. I bought my husband the North Face thermoball mules for Christmas which he’s very impressed with. I’ve ordered the winter version for myself so watch this space.

I knew mumsnetters would have answers. Thank you. I'll look at animal and look for discounted others.

Have a look at subu. What the budget?

Low thyroid here too & live very high up in the chilly north. I’ve got these, had the over a year & they hardly look worn, except for a bit mucky as I wear them every day , they’re brilliantly toasty.
Even better they’re half price in the sale at the moment.

Have you looked on the Damart website? They have several pairs of thermal slippers.

Budget is about £35. Slippers in M&S are about £25 now and the ones I used to have from there dont seem as comfy as the previous model.

I bought a pair of hard soled, fur lined sheer king mules slippers in Tesco, £15. They’ve lasted a year, look like new, are super warm and comfortable. I bought another pair last week for when my current ones wear out.
