Strathberry thoughts?

I’m looking at buying a Strathberry Charlotte midi (as I can’t afford the Loewe flamenco I really want 😂). I’ve not owned one of theirs before and wondered if people who have them could advise on quality? I’m looking to use it as an everyday bag, so I do need it to be pretty robust and I don’t want to have to worry about it all the time. I’ve had mainly mulberry and Russell and Bromley in the past, neither of those have quite what I want at the moment, the Charlotte looks great, but I’d love to hear your thoughts on the brand.

Love Strathberry! Have found them really good quality and nice to shop with in person, I haven’t bought online though. I have an east west midi which is my go to bag so often, it’s been battered about and still looks really good. If you can see them in person before buying I would!

I love the quality I have a purse on a chain and an East West bag both of which look pristine, even after 2 years. Definitely worth a visit to a shop as some of the colours look different in daylight to online.

I have a Strathberry Mosaic in a pale colour and it’s still in pristine condition. You’ve reminded me that I haven’t looked to see what’s in their sale!

I have one I really like although it’s a small going out bag so doesn’t get heavy use.
I like it enough to consider getting a bigger everyday bag from them.

I’ve never bought a Strathberry bag but just wanted to say the Charlotte looks lovely! I’m now tempted too 😅

I actually ordered the Strathberry Charlotte midi – in black – several weeks ago when they had 20% off offer. I must admit, I was actually very disappointed with it. It was incredibly lightweight: Obviously, you don’t want to really heavy bag when you’re going to be using it regularly, but it had no substance to it. It looked good and seemed to be well made… But even when the box arrived I was amazed at how light it was - It actually felt like an empty box. I was just assuming it would be a bit more sturdy.

I’m just gonna have to save up for that Loewe flamenco bag!

Thanks @ItsmeMargo, that’s really helpful. I I want one that is relatively robust, so maybe it’s not for me. The Flamenco is just gorgeous, I’m keeping an eye out for second hand
