Tights? No tights?

I have this dress for a night out next week, and wondering about tights with it? Bare legs seems like too much work due to waxing and tanning. But don't want to look too archaic.

While waiting for image, it's a long sleeve black mini length dress. Knee length on me because I'm short, with v short legs

This time of year, I’d err on the side of caution and go with tights.

Where are you going? If it’s a bit more of a clubbing vibe and you’re getting a cab, maybe bare legs, but otherwise, I wouldn’t chance cold (in my case, corn beef) legs in January!

This is more of a question of footwear, do you have shoes on mind?

If you want sandals then go for toeless tights. If you are happy with shoes go with nude tights.

I would probably go for something like 20 denier tights and heeled ankle boots. Have you decided on your shoes?

If you want to look polished and well finished… it’s tights, especially in winter.

Are black tights with ankle boots a no go?

I wear ankle boots and black tights with dresses like this all the time but my primary concern is always warmth! I do think I also look nice though 😂

I'd wear thin/sheer black tights and kitten heel black shoes, possibly with a slight point.

It's December. No tights and blue legs are not a good look.

Definitely tights. Black or nude with that dress, although I'm not a fan of nude coloured tights, so it'd be black for me.

Where's the dress from?

For a bar and a band, tights and ankle boots would be perfect. Sheer tights would make it a bit more special. No to patent heels or kitten heels as pp suggestions. But maybe I say that as I’m in London where pretty much everyone dresses more casually whatever the event!
