Makeup or suncream first?

After you’ve cleansed and moisturised, do you apply your spf or makeup first?

SPF underneath, always. Unless you’re using a spray formula (which don’t provide adequate coverage) then it wouldn’t be a particularly pretty sight if applied over makeup..

SPF then the make up (the SPF is the moisturiser, you don’t need to moisturise then apply sun cream) if you put the sun cream on after the make up that’s going to take it off surely?

My daughter is on a specific skin care routine for medical reasons and has been told to add spf in addition to her moisturiser. But thanks I’ll tell her makeup last.

How would you put the spf on after your makeup? It would just smudge everything and rub it all off surely??

I always use a specialist spf for faces and use it under my make up.

Skincare followed by moisturiser, let that set then apply sunscreen. Again, let that set then apply makeup.
Mineral sunscreen should last about 6-8 hours, chemical - 2-4, after that it should be re-applied (I like to use SPF facial spray if I’m wearing makeup).

Before make up - though I do sometimes use a spray one later on in the day, if I am going out again

I don't understand how you could do SPF after make up. That aside, moisturiser then SPF, then make up.

You shouldn’t rely on spray SPF alone, it simply doesn’t give enough coverage to adequately protect your skin. It’s alright for top ups during the day though.

My DD uses Ultra Violette Future Fluid - it is absolutely brilliant stuff and well worth a look if your DD has sensitive/dry/acne prone skin. Very light & hydrating, plus the mineral formula contains zinc which is naturally anti microbial and calms irritated skin down. It’s the first SPF I haven’t had to argue with her to wear! Has a nice glowy, natural tint too so she doesn’t feel the need to wear foundation with it.
