Control underwear

I've got a new job starting in Jan having been made redundant a couple of weeks ago, but it's in the office and client facing and I've been a home worker for years. So, spent today buying some office worthy outfits online, and now think I need to up the underwear game. I'm big, and apple shaped, so I need these clothes to skim and not cling, and I'd like to smooth out some of the lumps and bumps.
Can anyone recommend any reasonably priced control underwear that is comfortable for a whole day and doesn't cut in or constrict? Tum and torso are the issue, not thighs. I'm primarily looking for smoothing so light control is fine, but wouldn't rule out firm control.
TIA.

I’m a similar shape and also looking for something like this. But I definitely only want light control, I’m done with being uncomfortable basically! I keep seeing Shapermint advertised and their stuff does look good.

Also on top of the control use a slip if not lined great at smoothing out.

I need something along these lines... but body shaped.

OP, it depends what you want to wear to work. I love the control slips available in M&S and John Lewis. They are cut so you wear your own bra with them. They are smoothing and don’t provide a humungous challenge when you go for a wee. Obviously no good if you are wearing trousers though.

Thanks @StarlightLady I like both trousers and skirts, I probably prefer vests or camisoles or even bodies, but I would normally wear a slip under skirts so the ones you describe are definitely worth considering. I might hit up an m&s this week for a try on.
