I have a night out next week with my friends, my first night out since giving birth 7 months ago.

We’ve got a table booked somewhere fairly fancy for food, nice cocktails in a few places, but probably end up in an Irish pub with a band at the end of the night.

The two girls I’m going out with are both very attractive and always dress trendy.

I generally go a bit more classic with my style, but after baby number two and my second round of EBF, I’m at a loss of what to wear.

I’m 5”3, probably a size 12/14. Now a pear shape.

I will need to express while I’m out, so something somewhat accessible.

send help/ inspo pics!

Express while you're OUT? In a pub?

Classic black dress? Presumably you’ll just express on the loo so it doesn’t matter if it’s accessible?

I’ll be out from 2pm till midnight, of course I’ll need to express.

I’d rather not need to strip off to my undies to express in a public toilet. But you’re right, I will be in the loos.

I find it more surprising you have the energy to be out from 2pm until midnight

NigelForage · 25/12/2025 02:10

I think at 7 months I'd have just stayed at home

NigelForage · 25/12/2025 02:22

Also where are you putting the pump and
milk? this all sounds so odd.

Pump and dump.

if I don’t express I will get engorged. I have an over supply and cannot skip feeds without it being sore/ spaying all over the place.

That’s the plan, last train is at 11.50, but no guarantees I’ll last that long.
