What do you wear when you want to feel nice but still comfortable

Lately I feel like I live in leggings and jumpers and while they are comfortable they don’t always make me feel great. I don’t want anything fancy but sometimes I’d like to feel a bit more put together without trying too hard. What kind of outfits work for you day to day

I got some barrel legged joggers from Me and Em in the winter sale last year and have lived in them, often paired with a soft drapey jumper from Jaki London, which people often comment on. Zara and Uniqlo do similar joggers but the quality and detailing is not comparable.

I’ve never tried barrel leg ones but I can see how the shape would make an outfit feel more put together. A soft drapey jumper is exactly what I’m after as well so I’ll have a look at those brands thanks for the recommendation

I have so many matching loungewear sets, some more “home” ones in wool or cotton, some fancy cashmere ones for trips out. A nice matching cashmere loungewear set with a well cut coat is a great quick errands outfit.

I also live in lululemon matching sets, they’re so soft, wash well and look good. I think good quality materials in nice colours can help make you feel put together! Sometimes with a jumper over, if it’s chilly. I’ve also recently got some jeans from a brand called Ambela and they truly feel like I’m wearing leggings / sweatpants, but are actually jeans - a revelation for feeling comfy!

That sounds lovely and very much my kind of thing.

This time of year, a jumper dress and comfortable boots.

a well ironed shirt. mainly vintage. cotton or linen in the summer, silk or satin in the spring, wool or velvet, or cord, or denim, in the winter. vest, t or cami underneath, usually jeans on the bottom, sometimes cords, sometimes a ponte cigarette pant, maybe a pair of those wide leg m&s jersey trousers, maybe a skirt if I can be bothered, Tuck them in, wear them loose, leave them unbuttoned like a jacket. Am in my shirt era. A nice shirt has structure, a collar, long sleeves, bust darts, all very me, but not fussy.
