Comfortable, non wired bra with no pads

I’m on the hunt for some bras!
I want a non-wired bra, that doesn’t have those fiddly pads in which always scrunch out of place. Preferably I would like a tiny bit of padding but that’s not a deal breaker. It doesn’t even have to look nice.
Mainly I want it to be the comfiest thing I’ve ever worn.
Any suggestions?

I buy them in M&S usually, I can't stand the 'bones'.

Gettingbysomehow · 22/12/2025 11:37

I get mine from Berlei or Miss Mary of Sweden. I like thick straps I can't stand spaghetti straps that fall down my arm all the time or underwires.
Im a big fan of triumph doreen too although it does give 1950s take your eye out points and pretty it isnt.
But it does annoy me that all these bras cost nearly £50.

Sallycinnamum · 22/12/2025 11:47

After years of suffering underwire bras I've switched to M&S flexifit bras which give me brilliant support for my 34G boobs! No underwire and fantastically comfortable.

They're so comfy I don't feel the need to rip my bra off as soon as I get home!

Flowerslamp · 22/12/2025 11:50

I've replaced all my brass with these https://stripeandstare.com/collections/demi-bras. stripeandstare.com/collections/demi-bras]].]] They are too expensive, but they support and give a nice shape as well as my old underwired ones and as so so much more.comfortable. Plus you can get matching knickers without them being all nylony.

I’ve bought several “jelly bras” from TikTok shop recently. There’s quite a few different ones on there. I have the ones with wide straps and a back fastening. They’re great! I thought I always had to have underwires but these new ones are really supportive and so comfortable

I have quite small boobs (b cup) and really like the savagex cotton essentials bras with no underwing. They usually have a range of plain and patterned ones and matching pants too. You do have to do an annoying subscription sign up and cancel routine though. My friend with G size boobs also really likes savagex so I think they are quite inclusive size wise.

Uniqlo and M&S both do very comfy non wired bras.

These!! Non wired. The material is slightly padded but there are no physical 'pads'. They are the only bra I wear now.

Yes - I only wear Sloggi zero feel now, which don't even have any buckles or fastenings. They have small pads which you can take out for washing but they are the most comfortable bras I have ever had.

EstherGreenwood63 · 22/12/2025 20:35

I can highly recommend the Sloggi Body Adapt Twist bra. It does come with inserts but I just bin them. I have tried lots of different wireless bras including several of the M and S flexifit and these Sloggi ones are far superior. Give really nice shape and support and super comfy.

NoMoreHotHols · 22/12/2025 20:36

My most comfortable ones are either maternity or post surgery bras from m&s. They have a cotton lining which makes all the difference.
Some of my running bras are also quite comfortable without doing up the middle straps (which kind of prevent me from breathing).

These look nice but is there a hard piece of plastic at the arm side of each cup? I have had a couple of those from Next and find that really uncomfortable.

UntamedShrew · 23/12/2025 08:33

I came here to say sloggi. Mine don’t have any plastic pieces in them, @PistachioTiramisu

I love the soft adapt.

I have success with sports bras, properly fitted.
Berlei Electrify is very comfy for me.

I love these. They come up a bit big I think as the cotton jersey stretches a bit, so they are light to medium support, but I just think they are the best simple cotton bras I've found.

I was about to recommend these too. Not expensive but very comfy.

Vroomfondleswaistcoat · 23/12/2025 09:43

I wear Sloggi sports bras because I have peculiar sloping shoulders and I got sick of fishing about for sliding straps. Very comfortable (and I'm a 36C who goes running and rides horses).

I'm really laughing at your description of Triumph 'Doreen' , they should use this on their website 😂

DelphiniumBlue · 23/12/2025 09:55

Shapermint are very comfortable. They do have sewn -in light padding, but it can't move around. I don't wear any other bras now.

Vaxtable · 23/12/2025 12:16

M&S flexi fit. Cant beat them

Cranarc · 23/12/2025 12:19

I've given up on Sloggi Zero Feel as their glue fails very quickly these days.
