Waterproof coat for school run

I have 3 young children and walk to and from school with them in all weather. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good waterproof coat for me to wear? I’m sure that this theme has been done to death but the only similar thread I could see on S&B was a recently resurrected 10 year old thread… I quite liked the Janelle coats from sea salt that were mentioned though! We live in a village. I’m very fair so often try to avoid black as I think that it can look quite severe on me. I have looked at these but they seem pretty expensive for what they are:

I bought a Rains waterproof and I like it because I can put layers under it rather than it being a big chunky parka. Also means I can fold it and tuck it into my backpack if it’s not raining.
