‘Delicate’ smart watch suggestions?

Whitewallwhiteceiling · 21/12/2025 09:24

Despite the rest of me not being very dainty, I do have quite thin wrists and I feel that watches with large faces look a bit silly on me.

I want to find a smart watch (eg one that connect to my iPhone) which doesn’t have an enormous face and either already has a narrow strap or has the facility to change the strap to a narrow one.

Can anyone suggest what might fit the bill please? Thank you

I have the Fitbit charge 6, which isn't exactly delicate but it's one of the smaller ones and is fine on my skinny wrists. I easily found a nice leather strap to fit it on Amazon (other types are also available).

Yes I think maybe “delicate” is asking too much! “Not enormous” would probably have been a better request. I will have a look at the model you have, thank you for the suggestion!

Check out DC Rainmaker's reviews. More detailed than you probably want, but somewhere he'll not only give dimensions and a photo, but also a comparison photo.

Garmin Lily?

Seconding the Charge 6 recommendation. I bought a rose gold strap for mine from Amazon and it doesn't look very smart watch like at all and definitely not too chunky (and my wrists are teeny - I can close my thumb and forefinger round my wrist).

Withings! I have the Scan watch Light.

I really like the look of the new hybrid watches. Garmin Vivomove or Withings Scanwatch2.

I like that they have the analog watch hands for more traditional watch face, and I found that having a fitbit after a while the watch wouldn't light up with just the wrist movement, I had to touch the sides to show the time. With hands full of groceries, it wasn't very practical!

I have small wrists and enjoy my Garmin vivoactive. I wouldn’t describe it as delicate, it’s deffo a smart watch but it doesn’t look ridiculous!
I did look into the Lily too but it was slightly more lifestyle than sports centres for me.

SilverBlue56 · 21/12/2025 22:07

Fitbit inspire and luxe are the narrowest we could find. The luxe is shit though, batteries won't hold charge after less than a year so we ditched and got inspires instead. Seem much better.

I've had my Polar Ignite for five years and it doesn't feel that obtrusive. Similar design to the Garmin Vivoactive.

Seconded

Garmin Lily. I've had one for years and it's not immediately clockable (ha) as a smart watch.

trimma · 22/12/2025 06:37

Apple Watch series 10 (the small 42mm one) - its lighter/flatter than it looks in the ad, - I like the sports loop strap for comfort, but the straps can be changed in 30 seconds for dainty metal one for going out

Yes, definitely don’t get the fitbit luxe!
I wanted a delicate smart watch too and thought it was the perfect choice, but as @SilverBlue56 said, the battery life was dreadful and it stopped working completely after just over a year!

Barrenfieldoffucks · 22/12/2025 06:55

I've been looking for similar, I like the Lily and Withings. Hoping for some decent deals after Christmas!

Friendlyfart · 22/12/2025 07:04

I’ve got tiny wrists and have the Fitbit Inspire 3.

LevelHed · 22/12/2025 10:34

Withings scanwatch light for me..
.it doesnt even look like a smart watch...whicj i like

TheFluffiestCat · 22/12/2025 12:19

I’ve got a Lily. It looks like a normal watch and does everything I want it to do in terms of tracking my workouts.

WhatWouldTheDoctorDo · 22/12/2025 12:59

I have tiny wrists but the smaller size Apple Watch is fine for me, I’ve got various straps but the metal ones look like just a regular watch on.

Whitewallwhiteceiling · 22/12/2025 21:02

Oh lots of options to explore! Fabulous, thanks all
