Been using same facial moisturiser for awhile now - was originally using vitamin e cream from Bodyshop but changed to Superdrug brand as cheaper and has worked well up until recently.

im 51 and noticed skin feels drier, work full time in a school and been so busy last few weeks ive noticed skin a lot drier. Water intake hasn’t been great.

Got two weeks off now so want to concentrate on wellbeing. Currently have a cold managed to avoid a lot of nasty bugs going around.

what advice/products can people recommend? Water intake has already increased. thanks in advance

I use Aveeno cream on my face and my hands when they are dry and sore. It’s the only thing that my skin tolerates and is very reasonably priced.

Layers of hydration . I get terrible dry skin partly due to the heating being on and partly due to using tretinoin. I swear by snail mucin. I have a bundle of their products I use (bought the set from Amazon) then seal them with cerave moisturiser and my skin has been great.

Ceramides. Simple replenishing barrier repair is good
