Does anyone have any experience of these? I’m seeing these popping up all the time on my algorithm. I bought a Wylera a few years
ago but hardly used it, found the battery pretty poor and it was usually gone by the time I figure out how to curl my thickish hair.

I bought one - it was delivered yesterday and I’m absolutely loving it. I’ve tried curling wands/rollers/babyliss curl pod thing and couldn’t get it right, but the tymo one is so easy. I’ve got waist length, thick hair and it took me about 15 minutes last night to curl it before I went out. Didn’t do every single strand as I was pinning it half up, but it was so easy and it doesn’t tangle at all. I’ll see if I can attach a pic of the back of my hair. Considering it was a first attempt and I couldn’t see what I was doing, I was really happy with it!

Thanks for your reply JBJ. Your hair looks lovely! I’m still undecided as to whether to pull the trigger. I got my hair cut to shoulder length at the weekend which is quite short for me and I’m afraid this will give me curls and make it look even shorter, as opposed to waves. I guess the clue is in the name!

It will definitely give you curls. There’s a set amount of time that it curls for and there doesn’t seem to be a way to override that, so I imagine it will curl quite tightly on shorter hair. Mine is very heavy and I was amazed the curls came out so well as I normally struggle.

I have one - it’s the only thing that works for me. I’ve tried tongs, rollers, that baby kiss thing that sucks your hair in, straighteners and even the air wrap. You can turn the temperature down and it’ll give more of a wave than a curl. The curls last for ages too. I’d recommend it. My one plugs into the mains and is not battery powered.

Ooh I’ve not worked out turning the temperature down! I’ll have to look at that as I thought it was just pre-set

@JBJ
when you press the power button it has three “levels” also you don’t have to keep your hair in until it beeps just take it out sooner ☺️

I’ll have to have a play. I’ve literally only used it once

I got a TymoPro delivered yesterday too and had a quick go on it and think its got a lot of potential as someone who has never managed to curl their hair by any other means. My hair is just above my shoulders and it didn't seem to make it spring up much shorter.

I bought a Babyliss one like it from Amazon on black friday deals and am frankly amazed. I am terrible at doing anything with my hair, and it never holds a curl even done by the hairdresser. And yet there I was with lovely curls that were still nice and wavy the next day
