I had lost my way of using makeup etc. Have been ill for a few years.
Breast cancer but now with the all clear it's time to get back to being me.
At 65 some things I'm trying for the first time.

Sorted out my cleanser and moisturiser. My skin is normal on my cheeks and chin but very dry on my forehead.
Elemis cleansing balm and cetaphill moisturiser. My skin feels lovely. Have tried more expensive moisturiser but
my skin didn't like them.
Now to the actual makeup.
With advice on here I bought a primer and a finishing spray it does work. Foundation lasts all day.
Had never used those products before.
Also I read about mascaras. Bought the Panda one brilliant.
Next is to sort eye makeup, blusher and lipstick. Hoping I get money for Christmas so I can treat myself.
Unfortunately hair will have to wait a bit longer.

For everyone that has posted with advice on the style board on other people's threads which I read a lot
I like to say thank you.

Ooooh - that all sounds great!

For some fun and entertainment prior to your cosmetics shopping I can highly recommend the Virtual Try On facilities on the websites of:

Gucci

Hermes

You obviously don’t have to be buying, but it is wonderfully informative to see how various shades of eye, skin and lip products might suit you.
