I have cashmere sweaters from John Lewis and M&S that have been going strong for years, but I don't know what the quality is like now because they're all quite old.

Pure Collection is somewhere in the middle, I think? Their stuff was always very nice - there's also https://www.nearlynewcashmere.co.uk where you might find some Brora Smile

Uniqlo but has become more scratchy IMO.
Marks, J Lewis, Boden.

I've got a John Lewis brushed cashmere which is lovely. I also got a charity shop bargain COS cashmere jumper, which is excellent quality.

Another vote for Nearly New, and Vinted

Boden have nice stuff and Marks and Spencer.

I am a bit of a Palome pusher, and husband is buying me the Capucine cardigan for Christmas - arrived last week and tried it on, so soft and a lovely weight. Have also bought a couple of their cashmere items as gifts, and all seem lovely quality at a great price.

I have a cashmere jumper that I bought in Tescos for £40 about 10 years ago, and wear it probably 3x per week in winter. It still looks amazing. They have a few this year, but sadly not in colours I would wear, but if you like pale blue or beige check them out.

I've recently bought an Amanda Wakeley Cashmere sweater with silk sleeves from Tk Maxx - just saying...
Still the occasional nice one in-store. The offering has been pretty poor online his year admittedly.
I don't rate Pure or Boden for Cashmere. I've had some pieces that have washed terribly. 1234 Cashmere have some nice jumpers. I also love Crush Cashmere but I think it's now called Colorush. Pangaia is also excellent. M&S Cashmere is not the softest but washes & lasts excellently & is not too precious for everyday usage. Jaeger brushed cashmere is delicious. Wrap London have the occasional beauty, but the quality can be inconsistent.
