Skin and Me? Or someone else

I am looking for some recommendations in the new year I want to start sorting out my wrinkles (I have lost a significant amount of weight) and I have aged quite a bit.

Ive upped my skin care and don’t really want to start Botox just yet so was looking at tretinoin cream and Google seems to throw up skin and me?

does anyone have any recommendations for them or anyone else?

Uncouth are better

Skin and Me/ Renew and Me (same companies) started me at 0.005% dose tretinoin. This is a really low dose. And I have no previous skin sensitivity or issues.

Dermatica started me on 0.05% - I’ve tolerated it fine every other day. But I think most people start on 0.025% with them. They’ve definitely got my custom over Renew and Me because I’m not about to pay £25 a month to Skin and Me for such a low dose.

The only reason I didn’t try uncouth is because their subscription model is every other month and their signing up bonus is small. The combination of these two factors meant I just couldn’t bring myself to click to spend £35 for that first two-month supply.

However, I do like the look of the uncouth formula. It includes azeliac acid, which I find works really well with my skin. I also liked the uncouth sign up model where it told you the different strengths of tretinoin and asked if you had a preference (while saying ultimately it was up to prescriber to decide).

I’m with Skin&Me and after two years they’ll still only prescribe me 0.012% tret even though I have fairly robust 54 year old skin with no sensitivity issues.

My skin is brighter and more even toned, but its done nothing for fine lines or sun damage, which is what my prescription says its supposed to be addressing. I’ve stayed with it because their subscription model is so easy to control and you can contact a real person easily if you have a question.

If you’re a first timer and looking for convenience Skin&Me will give you that but its very expensive for what you get and they are too cautious with their concentrations imo. If you’re looking for results I’d do some research and go elsewhere.

I’ve used skin&me for about a year and not noticed massive changes for wrinkles. Texture has improved though. Hadn’t realised that the 0.015 teet they had me on was such a low dose. Have just switched to dermatica and they’ve given me a formulation with 0.05 tret and matched the azeliac acid that was in my skin&me formulation. Will see how I get on with that in the new year.

Thank you I will have a look at all of them!

I just don’t like how I’ve aged in the past year and wanted to try this before I commit to Botox

I've tried both Dermatica and Skin & Me - I've got quite sensitive skin and it never really settled with the Dermatica. Then they started having delivery issues so I tried a swap. Skin & Me have given me a lower % of tret to start with but are great at responding to queries and have gradually increased it. My skin seems to get on better with their base formula too.

I have used dermatica, skin & me and Uncouth and Uncouth is the best for me. I prefer their base formula and it comes as a two month supply which often lasts longer - https://uncouth.co.uk/?promo_code=EB959DE2 for 65% off if you want

I’ve been using Skin and Me for about three weeks and I’m very impressed so far. My skin feels amazing; so smooth and fresh - and I think it looks much better too.

I’ve never had much of a routine up to now though and have never spent much money on my face - tending to use soap & water plus Nivea Soft.

I’m 61 years old and this has been a revelation.
