New piercing this week - bad timing?

It’s the school hols and I’m having a midlife crisis- want to get tragus piercing. Seems sensible to allow 3 weeks before back to school, but will I regret it when infected and all docs closed end of next week? Can’t do summer hols.

Go for it. Just keep it clean and it should be fine.

Why will it get infected? I have 14 piercings, none of them have ever been infected

Oh I’m not sure, I had mine done over the summer and I kept it cleaned daily, slept on a piercing pillow and it still got infected somehow but it was at the 3 week mark..a week of antibiotics and then I still had to remove it sadly

Why would it get infected? I’ve had over 20 piercings and they’ve all healed without a fuss.
