Multiple piercings in one sitting?

DucksInARowingBoat · 14/12/2025 21:40

So I think I want:
Left ear - one lobe piercing
Right ear - two lobe piercings and a helix

Can I get them all done at once?
What about just getting the 3 lobes done and the helix after they've healed?

I know the helix will take a while to heal.

A reputable piercer, would in my experience do 2, possibly 3 at a push but not 4 in one sitting.

Exceptionalice · 14/12/2025 21:43

I don’t think many piercers like to do more than one in a lobe at a time because of swelling? They may do lobe and cartilage though

OfDragonsDeep · 14/12/2025 21:46

Sleeping will be difficult

Ladybird69 · 14/12/2025 21:50

🥴 I had 7 in one sitting! Was fine until the last 2 when I realised what I’d done. 3 in left ear 3 in right ear and a monroe. Ready to go back for a couple more 🤣

This.

And the helix hurts. My friend and I both ended up taking ours out as they didn't heal well.

MCR24 · 14/12/2025 21:59

My piercer will do 3 piercings in 1 sitting.

DucksInARowingBoat · 14/12/2025 22:00

I'd sleep on the ear with one lobe piercing.

Not doing the piercings next to each other at once because of possible swelling makes sense.

Helix are a bitch to heal.

Get the lobe ones done and healed before you start on cartilage.

Arlanymor · 14/12/2025 22:03

Cartilage take a long time to heal - don't get them done at the same time. Get one side so that you can sleep on the other - if you insist on getting both sets of cartilage then at least buy a doughnut pillow.

FortyFacedFuckers · 14/12/2025 22:04

the person I use will only do 3 at once

DucksInARowingBoat · 14/12/2025 22:05

I dont want both cartlidge. As I said 2 lobe and a helix on one ear and just one lobe on the other.

General consensus is not all together. Thank you!

Sorry I read the other way around - long day and tired eyes!

Vodka1 · 14/12/2025 22:34

I got my second holes & helix done all at the same time, so they will do it.

But sleeping was a bit crap for a couple of weeks.

Vodka1 · 14/12/2025 22:35

I'd just do it btw, no point in healing one set to go get all uncomfortable all over again

GrimDamnFanjo · 14/12/2025 22:49

The point of limiting piercings is often to restrict the pressure on your body as you heal. You will get better results with fewer. Reputable piercers limit.

dementedpixie · 14/12/2025 22:54

I got 2nd and 3rd lobes done at the same time on the same side. I bought a piercing pillow for sleeping on that side

Catinabox21 · 15/12/2025 06:54

I got first 2 in one sitting (1 each ear) and then 3 a few weeks later (2 more in one ear lobe, 1 more in the other). No problems with healing.

cakebreak · 15/12/2025 07:10

Why the rush?

Pricelessadvice · 15/12/2025 07:11

I had 3 done a few years ago- 3rds on my lobes and a helix. It was fine.

ShawnaMacallister · 15/12/2025 07:12

Don't do both sides at once. You need a side to sleep on.

DucksInARowingBoat · 15/12/2025 07:38

Those of you saying dont do 2 sides at once so you can sleep - standard lobe piercings are done on both sides?

Why the rush?

No rush. I was just thinking of getting them all done at once to get the healing done. Otherwise, it will be 2months for the first lobes, then 2 months for the second and then 9ish months for the helix.

It doesnt seem like a good idea so a long healing process it is. 😊 No problem.

Have you had a cartilage piercing before? They hurt a lot more than lobes and take longer to heal, and the upper part of the ear touches the pillow more than the lobe

As I keep saying. I only want one helix so I'll sleep on the other side.
