I need a new coat

Please help me. I feel like I've looked at so many coats I am starting to think I'll just never go out again and negate the need for one 🤣🤣
I dont want a long coat. I have a long wax coat which is fine, but its not practical for my lifestyle.
It needs to be waterproof/very water repellent but not a bloody ski jacket.
I want it cosy on the inside (not nylon) and it needs to be warm but not too bulky. I'm replacing a very VERY old North face coat (not the big puffer style, but kind of small puffa if that makes sense.)
Ive tried a few and sent them all back and I am starting to lose the will. Budget ideally under 100 but will stretch if I find something I absolutely love. I keep defaulting to black but then I wonder if I should jazz it up a bit.
God I hate buying clothes 🤣🤣

@Canonlythinkofthisone I was in a similar state last month, needing desperately a new puffer jacket, to replace an ancient North Face quilted jacket. Which also wasn't really warm enough for really cold weather. I also hate buying clothes.

I looked everywhere and in the end got this Barbour puffer.

It comes in black as well, and prices are fluctuating on Very. The black one was cheaper last week, and probably they'll drop the price again.
