Advice - BIAB nail bent back

My little finger nail got caught this morning and bent at least half way back, was agony and bled a little immediately but has now stopped. I’m so squeamish and the pain made me feel faint.

for now I’ve run under cold tap, smothered in savlon and plastered it up

advice of what to do next!?

I have a nail appt on Friday as it so happens

All you can do is keep the plaster on. It will probably fall off completely at some point. This happened to me a few years ago, took about 3/4 months for the nail to grow back properly and it did stop being painful after a little while, but I was agonising when I first did it! Get your nail lady to have a look on Friday and see what she thinks, she might be able to cut it back for you

I did something similar and the manicurist trimmed it and put a false nail over it. It was fine. Depends on whether the skin underneath is broken I think
