Clothes for losing weight?

I have lost weight, not sure how much as I have no scales, stuff is hanging off me a bit now though.
I look at clothes on line and so much is oversized and puffy and not appealing, I would like something I can look forward to wearing as I get smaller.
Has anyone any idea of where to start? And good shops or should I go for 2nd hand?

That might depend on the reason you’ve lost weight and whether you think your weight is now stable. (I also don’t own any scales but can remember a time I dropped two dress sizes through stress.)

If you think you’ll remain at this size then it’s a question of whether you want to experiment with lots of styles you haven’t worn before or whether you want to get the best quality you can afford as you build a new wardrobe.

What’s your budget? And what sort of lifestyle do you need to dress for?

You are kind. I have (on purpose) gone from bulging out if 16s and 18s to them hanging off.
I've lost weight before but years ago, but fashions at the moment sèm to be working against me. It doesnt help that I am am 5 ft nothing!
