Dd very helpfully waited for Black Friday deals to end before asking for an eyeshadow palette 😆
She has sent a pic as inspo of colours so I thought I’d ask if anyone has something they love and would recommend please? No rigid budget but let’s say maybe closer to £30 than £50 or at least no more than £50. TIA!

Some of the Charlotte Tilberry ones are still on offer at the moment.
I’m not a regular eyeshadow user but there is an Urban Decay nude palette which is cheaper and has colours similar - although it’s more matt than shimmery. My sister finds this brand as good if not better than some of the higher end ones she’s used. The only thing is - it doesn’t have the same package appeal that the more expensive brands have.

I would let her choose what she wants if I was spending that money or you risk it not being used.

Lancome Fraicher Rose

I saw the urban decay one and think she’d like that - she’s late 20s and doesn’t wear make up very much so it doesn’t have to be a cool brand, she’d just like something nice! She trusts me to choose but I do agree it’s safer to ask - I think she’d like a surprise tbh

OP - the eyeshadow palette you pictured is from R.E.M. beauty and is available from Boots for £24. If she likes those colours you could buy that palette.

I love my Charlotte tilbury palette but my everyday one that I always wear is from Aldi - it’s so good :) honestly

She might like Tarte Tartelette in Bloom, similar shades and a really good formula imo. £42 at Sephora atm.

Morphe Runway Ready is on the TK Maxx website for £12.99 (I think 3.99 p & p) and I love it! Really good pigmentation, good mix of neutrals and shimmer, and works for glamour and everyday looks. I’ve attached an image so you can see the shades

Now I know this is really cheap but it’s my absolute go to. I got the first one in one of those OK Beauty boxes and I absolutely love it. As it says it’s highly pigmented and it really is. I love make-up but would never buy an expensive eye shadow after trying this. You can buy something else really nice too, an eyeliner pencil maybe? MAC is my favourite.

It’s surprising how good affordable palettes can be sometimes. I’m loving Beauty Bay palettes atm, the formula and shades are amazing, easily as good as my Tarte faves.
