Recommendations for waterproof boots

Hit me with your waterproof boot recommendations.

Looking for:

• comfort - something that doesn’t need breaking in
• proper waterproofing
• good grip

It needs to be smarter than a welly or proper hiking boot - something I could get away with wearing to a reasonably casual office environment.

I really like Sorel boots.

I wear Blundstones with jeans to work. I do use waterproofing spray on them periodically but I’ve never got wet feet when tramping in wet grass and through puddles.

I bought some SOREL Boots recently and I love them. They’re waterproof, extremely comfortable and warm

SOREL Joan II explorer Boots. Mine are all suede (no felt) and have been completely brilliant in torrential downpours. You need to size up though by at least a half size, a full size if you want to wear winter socks but normal socks are fine

Merry People. They are short and totally waterproof, basically wellies, but I have the rust ones and they look like brown leather boots.
