The best knickers?

I'm looking for some really well fitting knickers. I used to buy M&S, but just not that impressed with them anymore. Happy to pay a bit more, but must fit a size 16 apple shape, high leg, black preferably, mainly cotton. I've tried TU, Nutmeg, Tesco, but none fitted well. I'm wondering if Sloggi are the answer, but seem to remember one of their styles not fitting well - think riding up the crack 😂 Any suggestions?

I spent ages trying to find decent knickers and kept seeing the Boody ads on Instagram, finally gave in and bought some and they are fantastic. They are bamboo so not sweaty and are also seamless, lovely fit, I’ve just bought a load more. I used to insist on cotton but I’m won over by the bamboo.

Another vote for Boody. I'm slowly replacing all my underwear.

Which style have you gone for?

I have the same requirements, same shspe and size. I buy a different style from British Boxers, but you might like their High Leg briefs. They are pricey, bur worth it IME, if you can afford them.

I get the high leg or hipster bikini and then I sleep in the boy leg short

its really difficult ti find pure cotton knickers any more , I’ve gone off M&S as well as they all
seem to have Lycra and mixed fibres

I find Sloggi better quality and more comfortable that Boody. Similar shape to you.

Would that be sloggi midi size or full?

I have these from Amazon following recommendations on here last year. I love them, they are the comfiest knickers I’ve ever had. Lots of colours or just black.

I only wear sloggi these days. They do all styles.

I love Stripe & Stare original knickers. They're expensive but unbelievably comfortable and leave absolutely no VPL because they're soft and stretchy with no firm edges to dig into the fleshy bit of your hips. Even being pretty slim (8-10) I don't have perfectly firm hips, as I suspect is true for most women, and I love that these sit nice and smooth rather than digging in.

Another vote for stripe and stare. I buy the high waisted. Lovely colours and wide gussets.

I can’t get on with stripe and stare at all, I fell for the big marketing hype around them and bought a couple of pairs in a few different styles and feel badly let down 😂

Sloggi are great

I agree that British Boxers pants are great. I usually buy cotton but have recently bought bamboo and they are especially soft.

I disagree that they are expensive. They are £7 a pair. You can't buy a coffee & cake for that.
