I like rings, and I like that Liberty ring, it’s really striking!
I have a collection of gifts and my own choices, and I chop and change which ones I’m wearing every so often, Ihave also started mixing gold and silver rings (because I only have three gold rings!). I only tend to have rings on my middle and ring fingers, because of the sizes of ring I own, and occasionally on my thumbs (but sometimes I find they give me a bit of nerve sensation while I’m driving).
at the moment I have my wedding ring (made from a load of gold I didn’t wear, and DH bought some new gold to add into the mix and we made them together, it was lovely!) and a ring I call my engagement ring, but I didn’t actually have an engagement ring and I chose and bought this one for myself. It has a silver band with a big cloudy emerald set in gold on it. On the right, a silver fishtail ring on my middle finger, and a copper ring I made stacked with a silver ring from a market stall.
Among the rings I rotate is a fat open silver ring with a turquoise and a coil of brass as adornments; a lumpy, melted-looking silver ring with a gold bead; more rings I made (I did a course!); a brass ring, a tiny pinky ring that I usually have on my top joint, and a ring I had for mu 21st made of white gold with a square emerald set into the band. And the best one is a ring made to fit with one my sister wears, we had them made from our parents’ wedding rings. I’d wear it more if it were a flat band but it’s wave shaped so limits what I can wear with it.
Rings I rarely wear: an opal ring, my granny’s diamond engagement ring, and a silver ring set with a dark blue sapphire I inherited from my mother.
