Got a deal (£3! nonetheless!) for skin+me for a spf moisturiser and a personalised treatment. The ingredients on the treatment are azelaic acid 10% and niacinamide 4%. I dont know much about these fancy names but I do know over the years in my quest to find skincare that makes a difference that the ordinary do these products for a lot cheaper. Am I missing something? I've used it tonight and will try the daily moisturiser tomorrow but part of me thinks that £30 every 6 weeks is a lot? I started using some Korean products last month, mainly skin 1004 and beauty of josean and i thought it made a difference for a while but now my skin has just levelled out now its used to the products (if that makes sense?) I'm late 30s and have acne scared skin so my skin texture is awful and it also feels dehydrated a lot of the time and have minor acne around the time of my period. Honestly I had hoped that acne would bloody stop and that maybe I would not hate my skin so much, feeling very down about it all!

Is there no Tret in there? I’ve used Skin + Me for about 6 months now and have been very impressed. My prescription is similar to yours but with very weak Tret as follows:

Tretinoin (0.006%): a retinoid proven to improve pigmentation issues
Niacinamide (4%): an antioxidant that treats pigmentation
Azelaic Acid (4%): a natural acid proven to lighten dark spots

Mine is for Melasma and acne and it’s worked well on both.

I’ve had a subscription for six months or so and it’s really helped with my spots and my skin just looks better generally. I can’t compare to other brands/products though as I didn’t really bother with skin care previously.

Changed my skin totally but I had tret in mine

It has worked very well for me. But I only need about half the prescription, so paused deliveries

So just double checked and they have a plan to prescribe me tret on the 3rd month which seems pretty suspect as they say Skin should improve in 12 weeks. I've emailed to ask if I can get it sent out this month...

My prescription changed over time. They seem to ramp up the strength of some of the ingredients gradually, presumably in case your skin reacts. I think for the first few months mine had an antibiotic in too but then that was phased out.
