General “Waifs and Strays” Beauty Advent Calendar opening thread.

As in previous years, this a thread for those opening Beauty Advent Calendars not covered by specific calendar opening threads - though happy for those to be shared here too. Also looking forward to hearing about the “Frankenstein” curations.

Carrying on the tradition from previous years, it will also be fun to hear about other calendar openings - Degusta, jam, cheese anyone?

I know there are mixed feelings on this, but many of us would really appreciate it if spoilers are not posted before 7am on the relevant day, though if the consensus is this is too late we could
make it from midnight on the day? Please also avoid dropping hints or spoilers about future contents if you have opened the calendar in advance.

Posting pictures of contents is also always much appreciated.

I’ll be opening the Selfrdiges and Jo Loves calendars this year. Really looking forward to tomorrow.

Day 13 - Floral Street Arizona Bloom

A dry floral amber fragrance for the sunny euphoric, nomadic and free spirited.

I think I will save this one for the summer

Can't believe you got a roll of stickers! What a cheek! Re the Town and Country I will have to try it. I think it was in the FM BAC too. I read it was Churchill's favourite scent!

Today in Diptyque is a 7.5ml bottle of Do Son perfume. I've also added a pic of the spectacular Xmas lights on Regent Street taken last night- beautiful angels lining the street!

Small size Body Shop day 13 is a mini shea shower cream. Smells nice and will get used - I feel this could pretty much be the tagline for this calendar for me! Maybe not the most exciting but I do like it all so far.

I love that HOF BAC thread: I read it periodically when I can’t sleep.

Lumene Day 13 is a skin tone perfector that will give me a festive glow. I will give it a try, but I already have the shiny glow of the oily-skinned.

Mini Cetaphil duo of a small cleanser and mosturiser in OK.

Glamour was a bit random. Muihood ear seed kit. It's based on TCM and is supposed to use acupressure to make you feel better. I'm hungover today so I've stuck some on. Hard to say if it helped or if it was the ibuprofen, but it's nice to get something a bit different from a BAC.

Zeroid Soothing Cream 80ml in StyleKorean today, not the most exciting product, but will get used.

Iconic London Prep Set and Glow spray in Look Fantastic today - gave it a go this morning. Nice to try as I don’t have a setting spray.

Really happy with CB today. Paula's Choice barrier repair moisturiser. Will replace my nightcream once finished.

In my DH curated calendar was a set of burts bees lip balm , yesterday was a silver bangle.

degusta was a Boone mamam chocolate spread.

Vogue today was Tilly Sveeas bracenet
my DIY was a Gisou lip oil and Commodity Juice
