As in previous years, this a thread for those opening Beauty Advent Calendars not covered by specific calendar opening threads - though happy for those to be shared here too. Also looking forward to hearing about the “Frankenstein” curations.

Carrying on the tradition from previous years, it will also be fun to hear about other calendar openings - Degusta, jam, cheese anyone?

I know there are mixed feelings on this, but many of us would really appreciate it if spoilers are not posted before 7am on the relevant day, though if the consensus is this is too late we could
make it from midnight on the day? Please also avoid dropping hints or spoilers about future contents if you have opened the calendar in advance.

Posting pictures of contents is also always much appreciated.

I’ll be opening the Selfrdiges and Jo Loves calendars this year. Really looking forward to tomorrow.

Rituals is cleansing wipes today. I don’t tend to use these as I double cleanse so I’ll pass these on to dd. Dd got a nails inc too coat in her Frankenstein not very exciting but she likes to do nail art on false nails for her friends as a way to destress so goes through a lot of this.

Ordinary lash and brow serum and Perricone eye cream in JL. Looking forward to trying both of these!

Day 4 of Vogue contained a Lisa Eldridge black liquid eyeliner. Black isn’t my colour but I know DD will love it in her stocking so a win.
im thinking I might splurge on Diptique next year (never too early to think ahead😁)

Think both Vogue with the Lia Eldridge eye liner and Sephora with the Kayali rose EDP and two Rodial have masks have been covered.
Degusta was a passion fruit mixer with water, will use this as drink loads of cordial.

Day 4 Lumene is 15ml Rich Eye Cream. I’m never quite sure whether a separate eye cream is necessary, but I’m happy to use it, and I only have night eye cream atm. (Meanwhile, DCat2, who is in deep disgrace after eating a panful of shiitake mushrooms cooked in butter, garlic, soy sauce and sherry, threw up as I was opening the calendar. He is now sitting on my knee purring.)

My Frankenstein stayed as the SpaceNk calendar today with the Medik8 Liquid Peptides 😍

I did change up my harrods today though. The rodial blush drops were in last year's AC and I didn't like them, so I sold them when I received the AC and bought the merit blush on vinted from someone's sephora ac. So that's what I have today with the rodial glow lighter. I'm looking forward to trying both of these 💚

I've tried to put my extras into the drawer number from the original calendar in my Frankenstein. In the hope that I don't spoil any surprises for others. I don't fancy people coming after me with pitch forks 🙈🤣

Day 4 for me:

Selfridges is the full size Drunk Elephant B-Bronzi glow drops. I don’t tend to use glow drops as I think they just highlight my skin imperfections, but may be brave enough to give this a go as I do quite rate the brand.

Jo Loves is a mini shower gel, With Love from Como. Some googling tells me this is a limited edition summery scent. Happy enough to try this

@Seahorses12 I love the Diptyque Rose scent. Do the 35g candles produce much scent? Like others, I’ve often been tempted by Diptyque but have been somewhat put off because the candles are 35g rather than 70g.

Very pleased with day 4 of the Sephora calendar. The 2 rodial masks will be put to good use as we are going away next week for a winter sun holiday. I've not actually tried any of the Kayali perfumes so looking forward to giving this one a go.

I haven't tried lighting one. I'll let you know when I do. I'm hoping they do because otherwise it's a bit of a waste. There are 2x70g candles in the advent also.

Day 4 Elemis 12 day : soothing Apricot toner and a face cloth. Not something I’d normally buy, but will use so all good.
