Boots with navy outfit?

I've got some Uniqlo navy cords on the way that I plan to wear with a navy blouse and gray jumper, and white blouse with a teal jumper, and a few other combinations. What colour boots would you wear? I have black boots and tan boots but I'm not sure either pair would work.

Should I get some navy ones or is that too matchy-matchy? Or any other ideas? Links to specific pairs would be extra appreciated. Thank you.

I bought some navy boots this season but they looked terrible with blue trousers. So I’d say either the tan ones you have, or new brown ones.
