Just a post to say I'm very pleasantly surprised by this New Look dress (I got the matching belt too). Someone else posted the dress here before.

I've always liked New Look. I don't buy from there often but have been very happy with what I have.
I've commented on a colleague's lovely dress or had comments on mine.
Great when you've only spent £20, and go to several parties with no overlap.

Very pretty but it does suffer from the curse of alot of New Look clothes...
100% polyester!

(I like their stuff but I'm an obsessive label checker coz I sweat too much to wear all polyester!)😂

was it me? i have this and i wear it with their brown boots and a brown belt. It looks amazing.

I also wear it in the day with their brown roll neck jumper. Im now into jumpers over dresses so its more casual. Love new look.

Lucky. My New Look store has been nothing but sale racks (filled with the stuff they cant offload anywhere else) since January.😞

I like New Look but our local shop (in a large shopping centre) is filled with rubbish! Online is the only way to go for me.

They also do a really good discount with Blue Light Card.

I was in there yesterday looking for short faux fur jackets. I didn’t want to spend a lot cos I was thinking of it as a “going out Xmas coat” and was a bit gratuitous. Looked around primark, H&M and new look. The new look ones were SO much nicer than the other places. The fur is really really soft and doesn’t look all shiny and tinselly.

I am a fan of New Look. I get many of my staples from there. The choice is impressive and gives reasonable quality for the price.

I'm really not their typical customer but I have found some amazing summer dresses there too - nice long midi/maxi style, 100% cotton, wash really well, and there always seems to be a 25% discount available so often they come in at less than £20 which for a pure cotton dress is brilliant.

Last time I went in my local store it was full of polyester rubbish, so I haven't been in for a while, maybe I will go back and take a look, I have been trying to buy less and better quality, but lot of the more expensive brands are using much more polyester than they used to, so I may as well buy cheaper.

If your local stocks aren't great, buy online and use the click-and-collect option to get free postage (over 25 pounds) and returns.

I love New Look. Definitely not their target customer but I love their stuff - ok some of it is crap but I’ve had some really nice things. I really like their knitwear and have had a couple of pairs of wide leg Adelae jeans. I really like that they are available in different lengths too. Have my eye on some wide leg joggers at the moment!
A few years back I had dreadful plantar fasciitis and they were selling some sandals that were perfect for it. Unfortunately they weren’t selling them this year but fingers crossed for next summer!

I have some nice things from there too, mainly dresses.I'm a busty petite apple and the neck lines and lengths are often a better fit than the high end stores. Stuff has worn well also.

I have three faux leather jackets from New Look that people are constantly asking where I got them from. I bought a black one and a brown one that were around £20 in the sale (probably around late Spring time) and a burgundy one that was only £34 last month. They are all not your usual biker style so a bit more current and I cannot get over what a bargain they were.
