Recommend a tinted moisturiser instead of the discontinued Clarins Super Restorative Cream in honey with SPF 20 (gutted they have stopped doing this. I’ve used it for so many years!!)

I have used Laura Mercier for about 25 years, I have occasionally tried Nars etc, but never found anything to beat it - with it on people go on about my good skin, without it people tend to ask if I'm ill 😁

Which LM do you recommend @theunbreakablecleopatrajones?

Charlotte Tilbury Healthy Glow Moisturiser (it’s tinted), it’s amazing. I was sent as a free gift and I’ve got to say it’s the best I’ve ever used!

Agree. I won't use anything else now.

Nars pure radiance tinted moisturiser is all I've used for last few years and im 48.
I love it as you can have it as a tinted moisturiser finish or apply more and get a greater coverage. It really lasts too.

Fluffydogonmylap · 30/11/2025 12:44

BB stands for blemish balm.

Lifestooshort71 · 30/11/2025 12:52

I've found all the BBs and CCs give too much coverage (in my 70s) so I add a bit of moisturiser to it and that seems to work. Atm I'm happy with the Ordinary Serum (well diluted!)

Thank you!!! Who is it aimed at - youngsters with acne and scars? Or anyone?

Trinny London does foundations that are basically tinted moisturiser. They are very good.

Erborian CC. The best.

Which one do you use - there are about 6 versions - one for dull skin, one for red issues, then others which have a range of different colours.

I haven’t got on with mine at all - it pills with the TL moisturiser and I look like a lizard in 5 mins. I am only using it now as a (very expensive) dot concealer to use it up.

Crikeyalmighty · 30/11/2025 14:25

I’m afraid I do cheap and cheerful here and use garnier skin active BB in medium - seems to do the job ,

That is very annoying for the price. Mad the way different things work differently on different skin types. I found the tinted moisturiser a bit low coverage for me I like the full face but it was a good one but pricey.
