What shoes?

Have a Christmas lunch (going into evening)with Directors at husbands work. Do you think this dress appropriate? It’s at a local fancy restaurant. What shoes to wear with this? Keeping in mind that I’m not great in heels anymore, and there will be lots of walking and tubes to catch thanks!!!!

You look great in it, though to me that would be a bit much for lunch, no matter how fancy the restaurant. But you know the culture of the people you’re lunching with.

Delicate, flat ankle boots might dress it down a little.

The dress suits you and fits perfectly. It's long which may be hazardous on the tube.

Could you hitch it up with a belt or something for the tube? You look lovely in it.
