Hair dryer

Can anyone recommend a hair dryer? I last bought one about 15 years ago but it's falling apart now.
Is it worth splashing out? Although I'm not sure I can justify £300???
I have mid length hair which I just dry (rather than style it) ...I probably should style it.

I love my Parlux hairdryer but never use it now.

I love my Parlux, well over 10 years old now.

On holiday recently I bought this one, as the one in the apartment was so awful. I'm really impressed with it.
