I would love to buy UGG slippers

for DS who is age 12 and hasn’t stopped growing in the last year. He was size 6 1/2 at last measurement at the end of the summer holidays. I fear if I buy him a size 7 he could have outgrown them before winter is over. Does anyone with experience of UGG think a size 8 would flap about ridiculously? They would be quite pricey to buy for just a few weeks wear. He has quite broad feet and is a F/G at Clarks. I would be looking to buy him a men’s sizing.

Apologies if this isn’t quite the right place for kids and growing room – but I figured that if any of the forums knew about UGG it would be this one!

All I know is that my six year old daughter had had her Uggs for two years although we are now pushing our luck this winter. But I think they are forgiving onngrowing feet because they aren’t very fitted.

Thank you. That's useful to know. Were they her correct size when you bought them?

The sizing is tight. I’m a 38 in everything except Ugg slippers. The 39s are perfect.

We bought DD some last year but definitely went up a size. I'd be inclined to go with the 8. Especially as boys at this age do tend to grow very fast! :)

Tell me about it. I swear he’s grown more this year than he did in his very first year!

They were roomy when we got them.

You need to think as well by next winter he could have gone up two sizes

the trouble I have with UGGS is getting the bloody things on!
I have a high instep and getting my feet in is a nightmare but they usually fit in my usual size once I do get them on
