Dermatica/Tret advice needed!

So, I started Dermatica last night. 0.05% Tret with 4% Niacinamide 4%. This morning my makeup has pilled … aaargh! It can’t surely be the Tret after only 12 hours? Problem is I switched to a new SPF yesterday and also added Vit C a few days back although I didn’t notice any pilling prior to applying the Tret. So, is it the Tret and is this par for the course and something that will settle over the next few days/weeks?

I would think it’s much more likely to be the spf that’s making your makeup pill. Tret will dry out your skin and possibly make it flake but I won’t effect your makeup directly

Thank you … that’s interesting to know but what a shame I chucked the dregs of my old spf a few days ago! Quite like the new one but will go back to what I was using before.
